Harley-Davidsons 2012 long-haul touring model that’s designed for “ultra” comfort – the Ultra Classic Electra Glide.
But the motorcycle that set that standard for convenient, cross-country touring replaced the Twin Cam 96 ci with the more powerful 103 ci with Electronic Port Fuel Injection and Electronic Throttle Control, an engine that produces 100 ft. lbs. of torque at 3250 rpm.
And of course, all the touring amenities are there: four-speaker, 80-watt Harmon/Kardon Advanced Audio System; one-piece, two-up Electra Glide classic comfort stitch seat with passenger backrest; adjustable fairing-mounted air deflectors; vented removable fairing lowers with integral glove boxes; spacious Tour-Pak carrier and injection-molded hard saddlebags; standard electronic cruise control; and all the styling touches that unmistakably make it a Harley-Davidson.
